Meet the friendly veterinarians at Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital!
Education: Ross University
Dr. Dunn grew up in Maryland, where she spent most of her time outdoors fishing, riding horses, boating, kayaking, and playing volleyball. At a young age, she became enamored with animals. After breeding her two golden retrievers and rescuing her cat from a marsh nearby her childhood home, she knew she wanted to devote her life and career to veterinary medicine.
She later moved to Malibu, California to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. It was here that she began her fascination with international travel and diverse cultures, having lived in Argentina for four months and spending a month in Fiji on a medical mission trip. Upon completing undergraduate school, she immediately began veterinary school at Ross University on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts. She completed her fourth year and clinical rotations at Colorado State University where her top interests included soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and cardiology. She also traveled to South Africa for a veterinary externship twice, promoting African wildlife medicine and conservation. After graduating, she decided to stay and make Colorado her new home.
